Grades 6-8

• No homework due the next school day

• No homework ‘required’ to be completed over the weekend

• Homework set on a Friday, for example, cannot be due on Monday. If the homework is set on Thursday and due Monday, however, it is up to the student whether they complete it on Thursday night or over the weekend..

• No homework ‘required’ to be completed during holidays

• Students can choose to complete work over holidays if they deem it necessary, e.g. extra practice, ‘catch up’ work after absence, arrangement with a teacher on an individual basis
